Free message tones for Android and iPhone

How to set a custom message tone on Android
- Download the MP3 file of a tone you like.
- Move it to the Notifications folder on your phone, or just leave it in Downloads.
- Go to Settings, then Sound & vibration, then Notification sound, and pick your new tone. Enjoy!
Note: steps might vary slightly by phone.
How to set a custom text tone on iPhone
- Download the M4R version of the tone. It's Apple's ringtone format, and every sound here comes in it, already under the 30-second limit.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer and copy the file onto it (using Finder on a Mac, or iTunes on Windows).
- Go to Settings, then Sounds & Haptics, then Text Tone, and select your new sound. Ta-da!
